I was in the Weedgie angling centre about 3 weeks ago.
'Hardwear' bootfoot waist waders for £40.
The material they're made from feels very substantial when compared to the Scierra waist waders which I normally use.

Cheers........Brian.

I used to have a pair of very light " Red Ball " waders has any one seen anything similar on the market? I liked these as you could wear a pair of old trainers with them , I would like to get some waders without the neoprene feet, caboc mhor

I have the very thing, from Lidl`s  stocking foot, they weigh next to nothing but once you put thick socks and trainers it bulks your pack up.
They are usually sold in March along with the fishing week,I gave a spare pair to Fachan 2 years ago. They come in 3 sizes M.L &.exL

Feckin hoot that day right enough, poor cyclist went on to lift the section winning in a new record time. Sadly the podium was missing the second and third placed on the day who couldn't stomach the smell o shite fae biker no 1 ;)
